Question 1

Will HireCurve make things up?

Accepted Answer

It is built not to. Resumes are written only from the facts in your confirmed profile, and every bullet cites the facts it used. Automatic checks flag citations that don't exist, numbers that aren't in your evidence, and titles or dates that don't match your history. Flags are shown to you; nothing is quietly rewritten.

Question 2

What happens with requirements I don't meet?

Accepted Answer

They are listed as gaps with one or two honest ways to address each, for example in a cover letter or an interview answer. They are never written into the resume as if you had them.

Question 3

How is this different from pasting my resume into a chatbot?

Accepted Answer

A chat window writes text. HireCurve keeps a structured profile of your experience, writes the whole resume in one frontier-model pass against a specific job, traces every line to its source, checks the result, and exports a locked template as matching PDF and DOCX. It also keeps each version tied to the application you sent it with.

Question 4

Are the resumes ATS-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Templates are single-column with real selectable text, standard section headings and embedded fonts, and the PDF and DOCX share the same reading order. Keywords from the posting are used where your experience supports them, and you can see which ones are covered.

Question 5

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't sell it, and we don't use your content to train models. Resume and job text is sent only to the providers needed to run the service, including the AI provider. You can export or permanently delete everything from settings.
