Templates
Five templates.Tested on open-source parsers.
Fewer, better templates. Each is a single-column layout with real text and embedded fonts, and every one exports as a matching PDF and DOCX.
Signal
High-contrast display headline, numbered sections, one accent color. Light or dark for screen and PDF; DOCX is always light.
Classic
Centered serif name and quiet rules. The safest choice for conservative industries.
Modern
Clean sans-serif with a strong left edge that makes scanning roles fast.
Compact
Tighter spacing for long careers that still need to fit on two pages.
Executive
Refined serif for senior leaders, with your strongest results lifted into Selected Achievements.
Design that staysout of the parser's way.
01
Switch without rewriting
Your content is stored separately from the design. Change templates as often as you like.
02
Locked layouts
Spacing, fonts and section order are fixed, so an edit never breaks the page.
03
Identical exports
The PDF and DOCX share fonts, order and wording. What you preview is what you send.
04
Light and dark Signal
Signal also comes in a dark version for screen and PDF. Its DOCX is always light.
05
Built for real text
No text in images and no multi-column layouts that scramble the reading order.
06
Standard headings
Summary, Experience, Skills and Education, named the way applicant tracking systems expect.
We export every template as PDF and DOCX and run the files through open-source resume parsers. In our test, plain-text extraction reads every field in every file; structured parsers still miss some fields, most often on two-page resumes. Commercial applicant tracking systems use their own parsers, which we can't test. See the field-by-field results.
